<p class="p_NoramlTest" style="line-height: 1.50;"><span class="f_NoramlTest">Tones, indications and announcements inform the calling subscriber in the PLMN (mobile subscriber) as well as in the ISDN/PSTN (fixed network subscriber) of defined call setup statuses. Of central importance here are the call statuses which result in the disconnection (release) of a call when the dialed destination cannot be reached. Apart from this, however, additional information such as proceeding tones, supplementary service indications or non-terminating announcements may accompany call setup. In the UltraWAVE system tones and announcements or indications are determined by the service provider on a project-specific basis, whereas in the mobile stations, they are determined by their individual manufacturers. The network provides the stations with inband information (e.g. causes). Then the station's type determines whether they will be able to connect a tone or whether they can display an indication.</span></p>
