<p class="p_NoramlTest" style="line-height: 1.50;"><span class="f_NoramlTest">Calls are charged using tariffs. A tariff defines how much a call costs, in terms of money per time unit (seconds). For example, a simple tariff may be specified as 1 cent per second. Then, if a call lasts 120.00 seconds, it will be charged at $1.20.</span></p>
<p class="p_NoramlTest"><span class="f_NoramlTest">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="p_NoramlTest" style="line-height: 1.50;"><span class="f_NoramlTest">Tariffs are used to implement special promotional features as well, such as the Friends and Family and Close User Group feature.</span></p>
<p class="p_NoramlTest"><span class="f_NoramlTest">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="p_NoramlTest" style="line-height: 1.50;"><span class="f_NoramlTest">Within each tariff, it is possible to define the first billable unit (minimum charge unit, both in terms of length and cost) and basic billable units, which take place after the initial unit. Often, the first unit is longer (e.g. 60 seconds) and the basic units are shorter (e.g. 6 seconds). That way, a higher minimum charge can be guaranteed, even for very short calls (the first unit is always applied in full).</span></p>
<p class="p_NoramlTest"><span class="f_NoramlTest">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="p_NoramlTest" style="line-height: 1.50;"><span class="f_NoramlTest">The values for the initial and basic unit durations are recorded in seconds, and can be recorded to one decimal place (tenths). This allows for more accurate calculations. however, for billing purposes, durations are rounded up to the nearest second. For example, a call that lasts 118.2 seconds will also be charged at $1.19 even though it lasted less than 119 full units.</span></p>
<p class="p_NoramlTest"><span class="f_NoramlTest">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p style="line-height: 1.50; margin: 0px 12px 5px 12px;"><span class="f_NoramlTest">The system supports multiple currency units. With the UltraWAVE prepaid service, a tariff is more than just a single rate of X currency units per Y seconds. Each tariff is defined with the following parameters:</span></p>

It charges MO call according to different destination prefixes. The PPS supports 64 MO basic tariffs belonging to 64 MO tariffs. Each MO basic tariff may define billing rate for up to 300 dialing prefixes. </span></p>
