Descriptions

 

To purge the subscriber record if a subscriber becomes inactive whilst in the area of UltraWAVE VLR. The VLR deletes the subscriber's data after a fixed time period of inactivity and informs the HLR (e.g. when the phone has been switched off and left off or when the subscriber has moved to an area with no coverage for a long time).

1.Go to EMS >Configuration >NSS >VLR.

 

2.Click the 2_035 button at the upper right corner.

1.On the System tab, configure the relevant parameters given in the following table.

 

2.Click the 2_041 button to update parameters to application servers.

VLR Purge

Enable or disable the VLR Purging feature.

When this feature is enabled, the system will purge subscribers from VLR once they reach the threshold specified in the Idle Period to Purge field.

Idle Period to Purge

This field determines how long a VLR entry can remain idle before the VLR purges it.

The minimum unit is 1 minute. The maximum is 65535 minutes.
