Descriptions

 

The IMDX and OPR share the same OPPS subscriber database. The IMDX and OPR user are mutual exclusive: a user can either be an IMDX subscriber or an OPR subscriber. Users without account in the OPPS subscriber database are public users. they can’t achieve the IMDX and OPR services.

 

 

Implementation

1.Click the Account main menu.

 

2.Select OPPS under the Subscriber submenu.

 

3.Click 2_017 at the upper-right corner.

 

4.Fill in the parameters listed in the following table.

 

5.Click 2_044 at the top of the parameter table to create this subscriber in OPPS.

Explanation

MSISDN

The local phone number of OPPS subscriber: It consists of three parts:

•CC = Country Code

•NDC = National Destination Code

•SN = Subscriber Number

This parameter is unchangeable after account created.

IMSI

An IMSI consists of 15 digits in the format: MCC+MNC+MSIN, where:

•MCC = mobile country code (3 digits)

•MNC = mobile network code (2 digits)

•MSIN = mobile subscriber identification number

When creating fresh OPR subscribers, this field can be left as idle.

IMEI

The international mobile station equipment identity (IMEI) uniquely identifies a mobile station internationally. It is a kind of serial number allocated by the equipment manufacturer.

This field is for OPR user only. When creating fresh OPR subscribers, this field can be left as idle.

User Status

This field indicates the type of the OPPS subscriber:

•OPR Not in Use (Fresh) = Initial status of a new created or imported OPR account. Only the Fresh MSISDN can be allocated to an auto-registered subscriber.

•OPR in Use: without roaming agreement = OPR subscriber is from PLMN without roaming agreement.

•OPR in Use: with roaming agreement (OPR) = OPR subscriber is from PLMN with roaming agreement. Its current application status is switched to OPR mode.

•OPR in Use: with roaming agreement (roaming) = OPR subscriber is from PLMN with roaming agreement. Its current application status is switched to roaming mode.

•IMDX Private Ordinary = IMDX private subscriber with default privileges to make private calls only

•IMDX Private Premium = IMDX private subscriber with higher privilege to make both private and public calls

•IMDX Hybrid = IMDX hybrid subscriber

Class

This field indicates the class of MSISDN for auto-registration. Only the Ordinary MSISDN is applicable for auto-registration.

•Ordinary = MSISDN is ready for auto-registration.

•Premium = MSISDN is reserved for manual-registration.

•VIP = MSISDN is reserved for manual-registration.

User Type

This field indicates the user type of the subscriber.

•OPPS = OPPS subscriber

•iPALIM = iPALIM subscriber

1.Click the Account main menu.

 

2.Select OPPS under the Subscriber submenu.

 

3.Click the MSISDN of the subscriber want to edit, this displays the editable parameter window.

 

4.Under the Value heading, modify the values of the subscriber parameters as required.

 

5.Click 2_020 button at the top of the parameter table to upload the new values to the OPPS.

 

6.Click 2_019 button at the top of the parameter table to update values from the OPPS.

 

7.Verify that the new values have been saved for the subscriber.

1.Click the Configuration main menu.

 

2.Select OPPS under the Subscriber submenu.

 

3.Click the MSISDN of the subscriber want to delete, this displays the parameter window.

 

4.Click the 2_021 button at the top of the parameter table to delete this subscriber from the OPPS.

 

5.Click 2_014 to upload OPPS subscribers from OPPS to EMS database.

 

6.Verify the subscriber has been deleted.

1.Click the Account main menu.

 

2.Select OPPS under the Subscriber submenu.

 

3.Click 2_014 to upload OPPS subscribers from OPPS to EMS database.

1.Click the Maintenance main menu.

 

2.Select Account Data under the Backup&Restore submenu.

 

3.In the right Account Data window, click Download following OPPSSubscriber to download subscriber file.

 

4.In the windows pop-up window, click the Save button.

 

5.Select a location on the local PC to save the csv file and click the Save button.

 

6.Find and verify the downloaded file on the local PC.

1.Create a new text file by a text editor (UltraEdit is recommended).

 

2.Fill the file with three columns: MSISDN (6-16 digits), IMSI (15 digits), IMEI (15 digits), User Type (1 digit).

 

For example:

# When creating IMDX subscriber, the IMEI field should be left as Idle.

# When creating fresh OPR subscriber, the IMSI and IMEI fields should be left as Idle.

# The 3rd subscriber is a sample for auto-registration: User Type = Fresh, Class = Ordinary.

 

3.Save the file in a local directory.

1.Click the Configuration main menu, select OPPS under the Subscriber submenu.

 

2.Click 2_023 at the upper-right corner, select the saved file in the local directory.

 

3.click 2_024 to upload the subscribers to  OPPS servers.

 

4.Click 2_014 to upload OPPS subscribers from OPPS to EMS database.
