The Family and Friends Number feature adds rating flexibility to the prepaid billing solution. This additional feature allows for discounted calling rate to be made to calls up to 5 pre-elected local network numbers. Prepaid subscribers should simply dial the service number to register and activate Family and Friends on their accounts by following the IVR instructions.
There are total 6 Family and Friends Plan can be configured in each COS and assigned to different customer groups. Each plan defines Family and Friends Number attributes, such as registration fee, free call duration and free short message on a monthly basis. Please note only service provider has privilege to add subscriber to a FF Plan, whether this registration operation is free or charged depend on the Registration Fee parameter of the FF plan. The subscriber calls the PPS service center to apply a FF service. After the applied FF Plan takes effect, the subscriber can maintain his own favorite numbers by the self-service PPS hotline. The subscriber can inquire his applied FF Plan by dialing the USSD F&F Inquiry access code.
The number of times the customers can change registered numbers in their Family and Friends profiles is under the service provider's control. The free charged number of change times can be pre-configured by service provider on a daily basis. The exceeding changes will be charged in a preset tariff.
