Descriptions

 

The OPR System enables the existing UltraWAVE Prepaid System to provide temporary services to any visiting GSM users. even they are from PLMN without local roaming agreement in place. The OPR doesn’t require GSM visitors to change their SIM cards. OPR provides prepaid services to the visitors with their home SIM cards.

 

 

Implementation

1.Go to EMS >Configuration >NSS >SCCP.

 

2.Make sure the System ID at the upper right corner displays SCCP(MSS_Pub), click the 2_035 button .

1.Click the Local Node tab.

 

2.Click the hyperlinked index number of OPPS to open the OPPS Option window.

 

3.Configure the relevant parameters given in the following table.

 

4.Click the 2_041 button to update parameters to application servers.

Specify the local node to a network. Choose the same network as MTP3 setting.

1.On the GTT tab, click New at the bottom of the Globe Title Translate table.

 

2.In the GTT ID box, select an available number for the new entry, and then click the 2_002 button.

 

3.In the GTT Option window, configure the following parameters to add GTT for the MSISDN range of  OPR subscribers.

 

4.Click the 2_041 button to update parameters to application servers.

 

5.Repeat Step 1 to 4 to add GTT for the IMSI range of OPR subscribers.

Allow or reject the mobile subscribers from the specific PLMNs to register to the local network.

Specify up to 32 PLMNs by entering its MCC and MNC.

Specify a COS to the OPR applications for charging purpose.

Class of Service (COS) is the basic entity used to define prepaid packages, and constitutes a major part of the prepaid service data.
